Food & drink

A couple of words now about what we can offer healthy appetites in North Wales Borderlands. Wonderful stuff! All the fluffy things you see cropping our hillsides and the silvery things flashing in our rivers look fantastic on a plate. Welsh lamb, straight off the Clwydian Range. Fresh trout, hooked in the Ceiriog. Beers from the wood. And the chefs in our many bistros and bars really know how to rustle up an unforgettable feast. You can bet that most things you’re tucking into will be locally sourced – and once you’ve found your favourite eatery you’ll be back again and again. Wandering and wondering certainly works up an appetite! Detailed information about local food and drink events can be found in What to see and do.
