Founded in 1889 by former prime minister and Hawarden resident William Ewert-Gladstone, St Deiniol's Library is a Grade 1 listed building and home to an exhibition commemorating the life and career of its founder.

Take the B5125 through Hawarden, then follow the brown signs to Church Lane.

Opening Times: 
Monday to Friday 10am - 4.15pm, Saturday 10.30am - 1.30pm. Guided tours on the second Saturday and fourth Tuesday of each month at 11am. Places limited so please book to reserve your place (£2 per person). Coffee shop open 10am - 2pm.
Open: 
Closed over Christmas and New Year.
